I am looking at buying a 2001 mazda protege ES-GT with 86,000km. I have never bought a car before and I know nothing about them really but I'm trying to make sure I get a good deal. The price is at $11,800 and I've looked on autotrader.ca but there are not many on there to be able to compare prices. If anyone reads this...could you let me know if it is reasonable to offer them $11,800 cash, all in, or are they going to laugh at me and tell me I'm crazy?
