I am the junkyard god!!!!

Found a set of side skirts off a late 80's grand am SE...decided wtf,they look close,lets take some measurements....74 inches!!!! my car is 74 inches!!!.....

So I bought them $20

Then I got to work and got some primer $2,a can of Dupli-Color Silver M $4, a Can of Clear Coat $4,and some 3M body molding adhesive $10......

Washed them down good cause they were dirty as hell,then I sanded them to roughen the surface....2 coats of gray primer,3 coats of silver and 3 coats of clear coat...put on the adhesive stuff,cleaned the cars surface,lined it up and stuck them on!!! not a full body kit,but damn I couldnt pass them up $40 total job done!!!!! I'm getting my friends digital cam,so I should have some pics today some time!!!!

I wanna see pics too, because the only image I have in my head is that nasty *** ribbed for her pleasure body cladding standard on Pontiacs duct-taped to the lower body of a Protege.

Yeah i like that, that looks good. So good that i ran out to my first gen with measuring tape in hand to measure...................awwwwwwwww mannn only 69 inches. Then i thought.....wait i could cut the sideskirts down "5 and then
fix 'em and put glazing putty over it than paint it......yes this idea will work. But think im gonna look around for something a little wider or lower or whatever and then put them on.
But yours look really good tho. at least its not so low that it looks incomplete without the lower bumpers........Twelve thumbs up!
