Question How to use the radio removal tools?

Do you actually need two on each side or one on each side?

Where are the "holes" located? between buttons? outside of the head unit?

I just wanted to know where to put these things before I stated pushing and pulling too hard. I only bought one pair so if there are two per side, I'll just go back at drop another $4.25 at Autozone.

Thanks!

YES....if you baught the regular U shaped ford tools...you will need two sets....and below you will see a pic of the headunit...on the outside on each side there is a little piece that will pop off...the easiest way I found to take it off is to get a paperclip and straighten it out...then put a little hook on the end...work it inbetween the piece and the head unit and gently pull out....there are just two little pegs that hold it on....under this little cover you will find the holes that the removal tools fit into....one end of the tool will go in the round hole which is being pointed to with the arrows....the other end will fit into the oblong hole in the center betwen the round holes.....hope this helps.
