How To Make Interior Trim (Aluminium)

Tape masking tape over areas desired to be covered. Trace it with a fine tip marker (washable). Remove masking tape carefully and stick it onto aluminium sheet (Home Depot). Cut shape out with scissors and use dremel tool to smooth out edges, if have one (or nail filer). Clean surfaces with rubbing alcohol that requires adhesion. Place double-sided tape (3M) on back side of shape and stick it back onto the interior. Use a small flathead screw driver, slowly run along edges and contours of the interior. Some interiors are removable, and should removed for ease of handling. Attached are some examples of my car (2000 protege lx). Some pieces shown were not used due to some difficulties but will try again later. It took me approximately a week to do, so try it at your own pace and skill. Good luck on your project.
