Question How do you remove door panel?

I have a 2000 Mazda Protege where the driver's side door lock is not working. When I turn the key or turn the auto door lock, it makes a clicking sound as if it is trying to catch on something. I'm trying to take the door panel off and look inside to see if I can figure it out. I unscrewed the door and know that it has snap pins. Once unscrewed, do I simply pull the door off?

Check page 9.

the handle clips off (twist then pull) and there are screws there.
