how do you.... ?

this is gonna sounds really really silly, but i must be safe than sorry if there's anybody who knows P5 better than i do. how do you take vents out and put them back in? you see, i'm trying to paint the vents all silver and let it sit out for a couple of hours and put them back in. add some color to it. ya dig it?

have anybody paint their vents in their pro5? i was thinking of paint mine silver, any pix will be cool.... thanks

how do you take out the vents?

it's really a simple question that i haven't able to get any answers, how do you take them vents out of the protege5 2002 car? i was thinking of paint them silver myself, but i dont wanna do anything to break them, so i want to ask here first before i do it... thanks in advance.

Yep - it's part of the whole dash itself.

And the passenger side is a royal pain - I couldn't even come close to getting at the screws.

Give up on this one, man - unless you wanna to paint them with a brush

thanks for letting me know. it's better to know that it's not removable and just to keep it like that.

Passenger side just clips in.

Drivers side is held in by 2 screws. You have to remove the whole dash first.
