Help a ninja with a yellow P5...

Alright I got this problem, I live in Portland Oregon, and every goddamn time I wash my car bugs attach themsleves like its pollen or some ****. I'm not kiddin or exaggerating, like hundreds of theses little piece of **** black bugs just swarm to my ****. I have lived here for almost two years, and I had a red Eclipse the first year I lived here and never had that prob. Also my car is a huge ****** bird **** magnet. I ain't talkin like the cute little white stain birdshit, I'm talking about the giant cluster bombs that look like they came from a great condor. Oh well I guess that has nothing to do with my post, but back to the point. Is there any kinda repellent for cars or some ****? And does anyone else with a yellow ride have this problem?

Could be the type of wax you're using too. At least for the bugs.

The bird **** - I think that birds just ain't fans of ICP so they push brown all over your ride.. (or white as the case may be... )

Bugs of all kinds are attracted to a variety of fragrances, so if the wax you use has a perfumy type smell, they could be latching onto that...

i got the same problem with bugs it really pisses me off ! i use thes little wipes after i drive some where cause i always have dead bugs on the grill and the front bumper. the wipes are called "bug and tar remover" turtle wax makes it and it says it safe for all auto finishes. i love this stuff and i highly recomend it to any one with this problem.

My car has the same problem. My car is molested by the bugs all day long. I bought a car cover from Mazda to prevent this problem. This car cover fits tight and the wind doesn't blow it off. The cover is molded to the shape of the car.

Hmm well that's cool. I think I'm gonna spray some phukin "Off" on a small inconspicous part of my paint and see what the hell it does to it. Cause it drives me batty. I can't dry my car after I get done washing cause I smear all these little bastard *** bugs all over it.

ha ha that's pretty funny.
yeah, i got that bug problem, but i also think it's the type of polish/wax being used. and it is spring, so more bugs are around now than when the cars were released last summer. but it does seem like my car gets all the bugs and no one else...

Yeah well I use Meguiar's products to wax my car. Perhaps before I resort to the Off, I could try switching up wax and see if that helps.

Unhappy Just say NO to bugspray!!!

Like the title says - DO NOT - i repeat - DO NOT put bug spray of any kind on your paint man.. it won't last an afternoon and most importantly it'll eat the finish right off the car... (And we spray this crap all over our bodies!! )

No joke man.. If you want to turn your vivid yellow into slime, that's the best way to do it!
