Help a newbie with his stereo

I've decided I am going to replace the lousy stock speakers in my P5. What are the speaker sizes for the back and the front? Also, any advice anyone can offer about what kind of speakers to buy, and just generally how to make the stereo sound better would be most helpful.

Thanks.

As for the type of speakers to buy, trust your ears, end of story.

There are different sizes in different cars. Especially in the front doors. Best bet is to opener up and look to be sure. Hate for you to buy new ones that end up being the wrong size.
