Headlight Reflectors

Has anyone attempted to open the housing of the headlight and remove the side-reflector in it? Just curious as to what it would look like, and I'm considering to attempt it.

I am confused, what reflector are you talking about? What color? My headlights look like the ones on your link. Hmmm
Are there amber reflectors on the inside of some headlights?

Yeah, on my 02 Portege, there is a refector on the outside. Like this:

Any help you could provide would be appreciated,

Or you could have waited a little, because 2002.5 and 2003 sedans have a clear side marker in their headlights. So instead of getting everything from a P5, just get it from 2003 sedan. I do agree though that P5 headlight looks better then the sedans, but I do not own either so I am only expressing my opinion.

Ok, I'm confused about this. My '03 ES does have the seperate low / high beams but I also have a orange side marker. The headlights are also a smoke grey color not quite a black like everyone else is talking about.
