Take 'em apart and paint them and you can save the dual light housing.

Why don't you just take them apart and paint them. It'd be a heck of a lot cheaper. I plan on doing it to mine.

The head lights are exactly the same size as the '01 and up sedans it should fit easily. I may be interested in a trade but mine are pretty used, I'll see how well I can clean them up.

Check out my link to see them in my car...I will try and clean them up and get a better picture.

I've been searching this site high and low trying to find where it talks about how to go about taking the light housing apart in order to paint the interior. Any clues are much appreciated!

In order to remove the headlight you MUST remove the bumper
as well. after you have removed the bumper there are just
3 bolts holding each headlight in place. After that you can do
whatever you want with it.

sidenote:

I would be interested in doing a swap.. That is
if other person falls through..

hope that helps

taking the housing would be hard. you would have to heat the glue up take them apart paint em put new glue back on and hope you sealed it good. i also think painting them might look cheezy plus i like the orange(it mathces the bumper light). and yeah who ever wants to swap e-mail me how we should do this. if its any help i live seattle.

I've seen a set of P5 headlights that were taken apart and painted black. Looked nice but one big draw back! Unless you can get an excellent seal they will continuously fog-up. And I can't even image what will happen to them in the winter.

LOL
