I think the weatherstripping thing would also work if you placed it between the edges of the speakers and the doorpanel (inside the door), so that the speaker is tight against the inside of the doorpanel.

I love that stuff. It works just about anywhere to stop all kinds of noises. It keeps things from rattling against each other... It even works on the long pieces of metal that connect the door handles to the lock mechanism.

 

My passenger doors rattle every once in a while, but I try not to pay to much attn to it.

 

If there is a noise in my car, and I know where it´s coming from and I know that I could stop it if I wanted to, then I don´t really care that much even if I don´t do anything about it.

But, if I can´t figure out where it´s coming from, or I don´t know how to stop it... then it will **** me off like you have no idea.

Edit: I wonder what´s going to happen to all the posts we have made while the server is on the fritz... don´t know if they will count to our total. I´ve made at least another 10 or 15 since the server messed up.

I wonder too. I've made like 20 more post since it messed up. And my goal was 1000 before the end of the year. They better not mes this up for me.
