Danny...HOLY ****!!!! I just saw your updated pro on OnlineShowoff.com and I almost wet my pants.

That is freakin sweet. That is definitely going into my protege photo gallery.

GREAT JOB!!

BTW, what color are your rims? Sometimes they look gunmetal, sometimes silver, sometimes chrome.

MORE PICS MORE PICS MORE PICS

I can't wait to put my kit and new rims on my pro. I'm jealous ...lol

Thumbs up

That is sweet looking! Are you considering a carbon fiber hood next? There is a Protege ES on www.SoundDomain.com that is white with the carbon fiber hood and looks sharp! I believe it is some where on the 2nd page under members.

How you been? Still caring good care of you wagon? I remember you were like the most meticulous person about caring for your car, that's cool.
Cool man, glad to hear of the raise! I'm still lookin out for my ride, ya. Gotta keep her pristine!

So out of curiosity, what brought you back? I hope you stay, cause I missed all the bashing you gave. (I got my dose for today on the last page! )

Take care man!

Well I guess I was stumbling around looking for info on headers, and came back across this site...and I had just finished my road trip to Vegas, and it just kinda made me laugh cause I still have my stock struts, so I just thought I would give an update, like a real life update from real experience about how lowering your car doesn't trash the stock the stock struts, like so many people who have no experience with say it does. Then this thread got kinda funny, so I'll probably stay around for awhile more, so thanks for always being cool to me, and hell yeah, keep takin care your baby.

Yeah, I think ppl make to big of a deal with stock struts. I've had mines lowered w/stock struts since December and they're still good. *knock on wood*

But I will change them soon for aftermarket ones, b/c they improve handling a little more and b/c I may be doing AutoX this summer.

Question for ghost

Ghost, when you mounted the wing, did you use any weatherstripping or sound insulation between it and the body? I've had one of those wings in my garage for a month now but haven't gotten to install it yet. When I did a test fit, it scratched the paint some so I'm trying to find something to isolate it, kinda like the rubber strip on the stock wing.

Thanks for any help,
James

Its nice to see things have cooled down in here, but I really don't see a problem with the criticism people gave here. I only see a problem is someone says something like "the wing is gay, just like you" or something. If someone says "it looks dumb" or "it belongs on a 16 year olds honda" who cares? Its an opinion, and I don't really see how you can take it so personally unless they were implying that YOU were dumb or a 16 year old honda-driving ricer.

Why are some of you so quick to attack people who don't agree with your opinion? In this case it seems people who liked the wing were attacking people who don't like the wing. IF you are going to post a thread "do you like my wing?", suck it up and get ready for some negative opinions. Not everyone has the same tastes.

I don't mind getting negative opinions on my car, and to tell you the truth....if I post a thread about something, and get nothing but positive feedback it makes the whole thread almost pointless.
you are right some people are quick to to attack some people that dont agree with them but you also got to see the people that just say dumb **** to get noticed ... they jump at hating on someones car for who knows what reason ! ... thats just my opinion everyone has their own and i think theres a way to say somethnig is ugly u dont got to be a dick about it ... yea ur saying what u think but at least be a little considerate !!!
