And did you hear me saying anything negative about Ghost? No. I think it's great that he's investing the time and money into his car to make it his own!! I was referring to the butt-ugly wing, that's all!! I like seeing all the new mods for the cars... that's why I'm here.
Now, with that said, how come you're coming in here and bad-mouthing me when all I did was give my opinion, whether it be in a smartass way, or not... And as someone graciously pointed out to me earlier... it's grammAr!!

How 'bout this... "I really don't think that wing looks very good. I think it might look better on a Honda Civic or something, just not a Protege5"
I don't come on here to express my expertise of the Protege as I rarely have a technical answer... and 95% of the time, I don't say anything at all!! I come on here to learn as much as I can, so I can apply that knowledge for my own benefit. But when someone asks for other's opinions, I speak my mind... that's it... nothing against people who want to personalize their cars, I'm all for that!!

You would never say what you said to anyones face. Don't use this forum to spout off at the mouth just because you know you can get away with it without someone punching you in the face. There is a difference between being opinionated (which you are) and being a dick (which you are). You can be opinionated and still show respect like Protege King and most of the other people here. i call time out! fallintoshadows and goblues, you guys need to tone it down some... this thread is turning into a flamewar and ghost's post is going to get padlocked.
to me, the wing is subtle, yet distinguished. it's like going from a stock protege es wing to the mp3 wing or the mazdaspeed wing. it's a little bigger but not overwhelming. besides, the only person who has to like it is ghost cause he's already bought and installed the thing. i'm sure goblue's comments were not taken to heart, as everyone can see, ghost's car is not some 16 year old's riced out ride but a well cared and well planned work in progress. the attention to detail and subtlety is commendable.
keep up the good work ghost. there'll always be those who don't have the same taste as you... and to those people... well, eh... who cares. mad props on a job well done.
hey shadows, thanks for the billet antenna. the thing rocks. i picked up three more AM stations over the other stub i got from ebay and my FM stations don't die out as soon around the hill. sweetness.
