Well if ya wanna check out Infinitys, you'll most likely need an amp, especially if you go with the Kappa series. The stock HU can't dish out much continuous power, so you'll need something with cleaner, stronger power. I'm not sure if you can run the Ref series off the stock HU, but they too take a good amount of power.
Anyway, check out this thread about Infinitys:

Of course, if you're not gonna raise the volume up very much, then everything should be ok, but if you do you're running a risk of damaging the speakers due underpowering. Just something to keep in mind when you're looking at replacement speakers.

I installed the kicker resolution RS5's very nice sound, and a great replacement speaker. I have only the replaced the fronts so far, but will replace the rears later. What is nice is that you can place the tweeter in the middle of the driver and pointer upwards toward your ears. Also since it is in the stock position, the speakers are completely stealth.

Just save up and get the killer system sooner. Don't buy crap and then replace it later, it's just a waste of $$$. I only say this because in a few months you are gonna be happy and you're gonna have a hard time selling slightly used affordable speakers.
