Can someone tell me or explain how ghost graphics or flames are achieved on exterior of cars?

 

Ghost flames are done by applying pearl base coat over factory paint in light coats or sometimes pearl suspended and sprayed in-crap I forget the liguid anyway that is the jist of it. Some now use the chameleon paint over top as well to acheive the desired effects-
