Front Spoiler Lip

OK, here is the deal. The Protege on the pictures is from Philipines, and has a J-spec front bumber that I can get from Corksport for under $200. How about the lip that is on the car. I know that is not the lip from 97-98, and it looks like the one from 95-96.

Is it the same as this?

Thanks, Bruce. I hoped you would answer that cuz you have a 95-96 lip, and the one on that blue model looks very close. I guees I am going to have to contact some folks in Phillipines about it.

yes , you can do that, remeber there is where I got my jspec tails , and they are not the real jspec tails , .. they are a knock off and you know that noone can tell the difference, I was really surprised when Jonas told me this, cause when I recieved them the quality of the lights was superb ...

That lip is for the 95-96 jdm front end, not the 97-98. i have the jdm 97-98 front end on my car. i know derrick at corksport sells that lip for the 95-96. you do need to buy the JDM front end as well for that to fit.

i haven't found any place that sells any kits for the 2nd gen, besides erebuni and the discontinued mazdaspeed. anyone else have any luck?

Try advanced imports. www.advancedimporrts.com
I think they still have it, at least they do on the website.

Hey, Patrick. Your headlights, how much better are they? They have a clear lense right? So the light does not look yellow with stock bulbs, or it does? Also, was it a straight install or not?

it is a straight swap, the differnce between isn't the color but the range as to how far you can see and the radius of the light path

the color will still look yellow, i swapped the bulbs out and got the super whites, the headlights also come with a spot for city lights, so i put in the PIAA bluish city lights and hooked them up to my parking.

Those headlights will run you at $250. So will J-spec clear rears. I wish I won a lottery, I would make Corksport so happy

i'll have more pics up when the weather gets better. so does anyone have suggestions for my frontend? what else can i do? i hate the fact that the front end sits a lil higher than the rest of my car. the erebuni kit front is too agressive. i'm thinking about customing the p5 downforcers.
