Free touch up paint offer?

Got a pretty sweet package today from Mazda with a free touch up paint offer. Also came with a key chain that has a blue light. I guess all you have to do is fill out the survey and they send you a bottle of touch up paint. Pretty cool! Too bad I ordered a bottle a week ago.

What kind of survey ??? Online or do you have to go to the dealership? Not that they would have touch up paint for my '91.

It's a survey that I have to fill out and send back. But I think its only for new owners because it said "Congratulations on you new Mazda Protege 5" So unless you bought your '91 new...I guess your out of luck . Like I said...I just bought a bottle...so I may be willing to give up the free one if anyone needs it. I'm gonna keep the keychain though. That thing is hella bright. Don't look at it directly!

Giving touch up paint to owner who just purchased the car NEW seems pretty weird to me. Why would you need touch up paint when the car is BRAND NEW.
And why did you buy touch up paint anyways ???

Yeah...you would think that I wouldn't need touch up paint after a month...but I've got a few rock chips on the hood. The only thing I'm dissapointed about the P5 is the cheapo paint job. Other than that....the P5 rocks. Aw well....nothing a free bottle of touch up paint can't fix eh???

I wouldn't know. It will take well over a dozen bottles of touch up paint to fix all of my rock chips.

That little blue light is GREAT! It actually works like a flashlight. I love that thing!

I saw 'em for sale at Betteries Plus, but they didn't say Mazda (obviously). But they're only a few bucks.
