Fog Light Mod - done!

Just a quick note to let you all know that I finally did the fog-light-re-wiring thing; to allow the fogs to operate with just the parking lights on, instead of the factory way of only with the headlights.

Totally painless job - took ten minutes. The car definitely looks sharp with just the fogs lit - it's nice for dawn/dusk driving, as well as during the day. And you maintain the legal requirement that the fogs shut off when using the brights - that still works.

Easy to do! Highly recommended!

These pics were very helpful to me:

Fog Light Mod

If anyone has trouble getting to those pics, post and I will get them up somewhere else for easier access.

Must have something to do with the DRLs in Canada. Hopefully, someone will chime in here.

But very nice to know people actually use the SEARCH button! Very cool of you, AwaKen.

OK ... just to be sure ! All I have to do is cut the red wire, take the red wire coming out of the relay and splice it with the light green/black wire !? If so, we just change the relay's trigger from the red wire (probably the headlight) to the green/black (Parking light) !!?

Thanks

I have tried that, but it's not working, is it because i have a Canadian P5 ?

someone told me it's because of the DRL ?
