finally got my roll cage !!
yes finally got my roll cage after a month ... will be putting it in tonight ... will post pics asap ... just thought i would tell the good news to all my protege brothers and sisters... later

As soon as you get it installed take some pictures and post them. I've been thinking about puting a role cage in my Pro, but haven't decided if I want to o rnto cause I don't want to loose alot of space. We got a 4 door for a reason you know

ok got it in ....
finally got it in .... im in san jose now .... getting ready for the car show .... i took about 6 hrs to put in .. and was a bitch to do .... im surprised that its still has hella room in the back ... my friend who is 6 ft still had leg room back there .... well its about 2:51 in the morning just thought i would update you guys and gurls about it .... will post pics asap .... and for the peoples going to HIN in san mateo... you ll see the finished project....talk to you guys later .......

Silverbullet, in drag racing if your car is in a certain division, such as street class, or outlaw, then you are required to have a roll cage, helmet, and so on. I believe that as long as you are not in any of the classes then you dont have to have a roll cage. But I am positive that you do need them for drag racing, especially if you compete in the classes.

i got the roll bar for looks and also autocross... i guess you could call it a bar ... i reallie didnt know the difference till pseudorealityX pointed that out... thanks for the info...but thats basically why i got it ... for autocross ... and for whenever they have a track day at thunderhill....and also for looks ...well gotta go to sleep .... got to wake up bright and early ... for tomorrows car show ... will post pics whenever i get them ... later

uhhh whatever... how is that "roll cage" going to LEGALLY allow him to drag race? It's not even NHRA certified/sanctioned!

I think some people on this forum dont even know thier is a engine in thier car.
