you guys know where i can get a set of clear fender signals for the pro?

i have seen ppl mod the 2000 clear celica ones to fit (if I'm correct) but are there no original clear fender signals on the market to fit the pro?

The clear side markers came stock on my 03 protege. So I'm sure you can order them either form a dealer or an OEM parts site online...

Do you have the orange ones and want the clears instead?

actually i don't have any and I wanna put them on.
I got in a small accident a while now and i have to change my left side front fender.
the fender i got has the hole for it so i was thinkin' of gettin' the signals to put them on.
i'm gonna repaint the whole car so it won't be a problem for the guys in the shop to put the signal on the right fender.

do you think you could probably point me in the right direction where i can order this?

Hang on - confusion here.

There are clear fender lights (turn signals). At least in Canada these came stock on 03 Pro and P5s.; Based on the photos, this is what you need.

P5s also had fender lights (orange, on the side) - these are side clearance markers, required by US and Canadian laws. Those came on with parking lights and beams (unless rewired). Those did not come as clear from OEM, but people fit various ones instead. I have 2000 Celica ones flipped 180, some people used the RX8 (previous gen) ones. Search.

I am not lookin for the bumper signals, i'm looking for the turn signals that are on the front fenders as shown in the pics i added.

I was gonna add the bumper signals too but that'll be too much for me.
I wanna keep things nice and simple.

Right then, the OEM 2003 turn signals. Did these come standard in Trinidad, or you need help getting them?

Well I have an import from Japan (originally made for Japan and shipped to Trinidad) and they didn't come with any. The local one's (323s made for Trinidad and shipped) however have they fender signals but they're amber.

Some of the Japanese imports have them but they're amber too. I've only noticed recently that I saw 2 Familias (what the Protege is called in Japan) with the clear fender signals but again that's a direct import from Japan. There's no way I would get that here in Trinidad.

So yes, I need help getting them.

OK, but before you start to shell out money:

- I have no special deals, I simply live where these are available at any dealer. Maybe Ken from ProtegeGarage can get you a deal. If not, I can get the Canadian dealer pricing.
- If your car originally did not have them, you likely need more than just a light. Ask gurus on the forum, or look for someone that did the mod. Even superficially, you need the light, the bulb, the grommet, the harness and the relay
- Of course, there always is a way to fake it - just the non-functional lights....

Well I want the functional one, I don't like to be fake.
lol
I already ordered some parts from Ken so I think I'll just talk to him.
If not, I may have to organise with you to get it.

The car never came with the lights so I will need everything needed for the light to work. The light, the wire, grommet, bulb, etc.
