Erebuni Front Bumper

For those of you who have or know about the Erebuni kit. I know the safety bumper has to be removed, but would it mess up the paint job on the kit if I had it painted before dry fitting it? Or will the modifications not effect the kit and the paint job? The paint shop suggested I fit it first but I do not know if it would be any big deal if I fitted it while it was painted. Thanks. Later.

As long as you are careful not to scratch the new paint when installing the bumper you should be fine, if that is what you meant...

yeah but you have to be really really careful whenever you put it on, and not only that the fitment on alot of aftermarket kits is not allways the best and minor modifications have to made some times, you don't wanna scratch up the paint job on it before you can even get it on. I would fit it first 'cus if its a really terrible fit and you've allready painted it then you might not be able to return it..................better safe than sorry. And in the end its not like it'll be on there faster you're gonna have to do everything if it is, or isn't painted. just my 2 cents
peace.

Was the front bumper the only part that needed to be modified? I am not experienced enough in cars to fit or install the kit myself. I am getting the kit painted at a different place then I am getting it installed at, so if I get it dry fitted first they will charge me labor fees which are very expensive. I am trying to save money by having it painted first, and then having the other shop install it. What I was trying to say was, would they mess up the paint job if they had to modify the stock bumpers while doing the final install. Hope that makes more sense.
