disconnecting wire harness

hi all, just wonderig if i disconnect my radio and then reconnect it if i'll have any problems with entering factory codes or anything like that?

I have an 02 and there is no code or anything. You just plug it back in. I'm not sure about the previous gens.

No if you are using a wire harness like Metra, it should just plug right in. Wires are coded clearly and have a diagram on the wrapping in case there are any questions. It's pretty straight forward.
