DGmotorsports front lip

I was looking at this: Front lip

And I like it except for the part that the bottom is carbon fiber, so I was wondering, is the carbon fiber part paintable, or will it just have to stay black. I want the whole peice to be yellow, to match my car.

yes you could paint over it, but for the money, you might as well just get an autoexe lip. the dg one is just a replica, and since its made of carbon fiber, it may crack if you hit something. the real autoexe one is urethane, and is very flexible. id go with that. check out the pics of my car in my sig. thats what the autoexe looks like. later

Can you get it for around the same price, $375 + 40 for shipping?

well not the same, but not too far off. auto r&d has it for 400 plus shipping, which was another 65 i think. but for a few more dollars, it might really save you the trouble of dealing with a cracked lip. id really think about it. its your call tho. later

Ouch

Is that 400 with paint, or without? That's pretty spendy...but if you got it like that, I'm not hating.

hey, we just bought an onderground lip to see what it looks like, and it looks surprisingly good. my brother is gonna put it on his car, so we went out and held it up to the bumper and it looked real good. his name on here is PAproES, so pm him if you wanna see a pic of it, i think he has a few. you can get it at www.onderground-design.com , just thought id throw another fiberglass autoexe lookalike out there for you guys. later

I want to see how yours will look when the lip is painted and installed. When are you planning to hook it up?

Do you know the part # and do you have pics? I thought their lip was like $400. Are you sure they have one for 275?

I'll install it when the threat of any significant snowall goes away. Sooner than later hopefully.
