Unhappy Deck doesn't power up

OK I got all the wires hooked up properly and the little LED flashed on my deck (good sign) but when I went to power it up, it wouldn't turn on! So I switched the yellow and red wires around thinking there was something with my electrical system, but the deck still wouldn't power up!
Help!
What could be wrong here!

power

Use a 12 volt power tester on your hot wires, to do this turn your key to the ON position, then find a hot wire with the tester by inserting it into or onto the wire, turn the key off w\ the tester still on the wire, if it goes off thats ur remote or power turn on wire, if it does try the other hot wire, there is only 2, one is your constant and the other is your remote

I had a dead fuse in the fuseblock
Guess that would explain why my clock didn't work either
