dash install

does anyone know how to remove the panel of squishy dash right above the glove box on a gen 3? i want to mount my tv in this spot, so i need to take that part off to cut the hole, but i can't figure it out, and i don't want to ruin it. what's behind it? is it a solid metal panel that i will have tons of trouble running wiring to and attaching the screen? or is it a good spot. any help/experience is welcome.

Ben...are you sure you want to do that...

That is where the manuf. puts the passenger side airbag.

Ben,

If you remove the glove box, I'm sure just reaching up underneith it should reveal the retention clips or something. Try that and see.
