Customizing my Interior

Does anyone know the disassembly procedures to remove the center audio/air control cover. I'm planning on painting it, as well as other trim items, in an aluminum metalizer to give a metal look. I have done this affect to many plastic models and think it'll work on the plastic in the car. Any suggestions or answers?

Shoudl jsut pull out, push both of your vents downward, and use that edge to just kinda of yank on. be careful if you've got an aftermarket deck as that'll likely ocme with it.
