Those grilles are pretty sweet, but I hope it will be of better quality than the one in the picture - I can see places where it is already bent, and the horizontal strips don't line up well at all.

I'm guessing that it will look better as a full-production piece.

Any chance that on the production model the upper and lower will match? In the pic, the bottom grille's slats are all lined up fairly well, but in the top grille, the billet pieces follow the bumper opening and hood lines, meaning the billet sections are closer together at the outside edges of the grille, where the opening is smaller. I can only speak for myself, but I'd prefer that both sections have perfectly horizontal lines. And maybe even fewer rows, with more space in between 'em. Again, just MHO.

What kind of price are we looking at? Can ya' ballpark it?

Keep us posted - I know my ears perked up when I read the post, and would love to see the finished version, including $$$

(oh yeah, and maybe a small Mazda logo somewhere, even as an optional add-on thing? Possibly offset in a corner or something? Just a thought.)
