Anybody out there have separates for their P5 yet? If so what do you have and how do they sound. I was thinking about MB Quarts or Fanatic Q's.

 

I have a fully sponsored Blaupunkt P-5. Pics up soon! I would recommend the MB's if you are running a good clean amp. If you are running lower power (ie stock head unit) then I would recommend Infinity Reference, JBL GTO's, or Blaupunkt i- series.

I've heard good things about the infinity references. Are the MBs no good without power?

 

I'm running Diamond Audio Motorsport 6 1/2's all around. Sound great, especially with the tweeter placed high in the door. I've got pics in the post labeled "System Pics" if you want to see.

What would work well w/ a high power head unit? (200 watts)

 

Focal, Diamond, MB Quart, and Oz Audio, all need good CLEAN power to make them perform. Dynaudio is another excellent choice. I had a customer last week shell out $449 for a 5" component set of Dynaudios and wanted to put it on a Pyramid 500 amp. THANK GOD I talked him into purchasing a new amp.
