Cobra Eyes opinion
#16
im not flaming the kid. I've seen many riced out cars that look fantastic. But he did ask our opinion so i'm not gonna lie about what i think. I don't think they look good on our car's b/c the squirters are just too close together to pull it off. There are plenty of other upgrades to do to your car (maybe not as cheap as 10 bux) but will give a better overall appearance.

i just think there is a nice way to say you do'nt like something and a rather rude way and a lot of times on this board in the last months it seems like a lot of people have been leaning towards the more rude methods..

anything u do to modify ur car from its original form, even bigger or lower profile tires on stock rims are illegal. Any lights above the headlights besides on trucks the running lights on the roof are illegal. or for offroad use only.
But Cobra Eyes look cool. I had them on my car, the chrome starts chipping. Id get the CF ones Pilot makes. as long as they are white or hyperwhite(bluish tint) and not Bright Blue or green expecially red, are the ways to get caught. U can get the Amber or BLACK LIGHT ones and be safe. I had hyperwhites to match my old xenon headlights. Looks cool as crap, til i got pulled over for speeding then they got me for xenon liights and cobras. Oh well
Do your own thing, thats what matters.

practically i'd have to agree with everyone that said anything negative against them. it's 100% rice, and they are really ghetto, the people that usually have them are the ones that can only do that mod to their car. but like the one guy said, its ur car so do what you wish. Also around here they are illegal, i dont know where your from, but my friend just got pulled over for having them i think they were clear actually, the cop told him that all colors are illegal. So if they're illegal in your area and you dont feel like taking them off a week after you put them on along with paying court fines i wouldnt suggest it.

cut the crap personally, i put them on my car, got ticketed, cut the wires and decided to keep those over putting my stock sprayers on. they're more functional as you can adjust the nozzle heads, and they also look a little better than stock, but lit up, i beg to differ on any car. if you're going to get them in any color, stick with a white one, just never use them when you're actually driving just a little insider information.

wiper lights
These are the cobra lights.... on a gen 2 It took me about 45mins to pull off because you had to remove the heat shield and widen the hole so that you could actually screw the Cobra Eyes in. It took two pairs as th first both blew because water leaked. Make sure that the hose is tight on. With my front grill and back lights it looks kickin at night.
Done right they look cool.... It's all those Civic rust bucket cars that just have a "fart tube" (not an actual pro exhaust, just a tip that is either custom made or bought for cheap) and the lights that it looks both cheap and rice-ish.
Each to there own but can you say this pic looks bad?

Legality
I simply have a switch that they are wired to that I can turn on and off inside my car. This switch also controls the interior lights of the car. See the section on neon lighting above fo details.
