Clear cornerz
Ok ya'll ive been stydying the whole clear corner thing and i found something out. The 1990 mazda 626 has the same corner light as ours only clear. Now before u guys haul A@$$ to yur local junk yard here is the catch..its got about one inch of extra amber on the end. The trick to doing this is that the protege side marker lights will come apart under heat in the oven but the 626's wont. The 626's light casing is being held together by like some kind of krazyglue-like substance so heat doesnt effect it,as to where the pro's is held together by just plain silicone. Now with a dremel tool and some cutting skill i "KNOW" this can be done.Only reason why i havent done it is cause i dont have the friggin 20 buks right now for another pair of 626 corner lights, but it will work.If anybody has any success with this project lemme know.
p.s. when cutting fit the curb on the pro housing first then cut from there..u might be left with some abmer but u can paint that black or red or color match it to yur ride (Dam im good )
