Carbon Fiber Accents

Has anyone had a look at the Momo shift ***** with carbon fiber on them? Some of them look pretty cool but I was curious if the carbon fiber was a very good match for the carbon fiber accents in the P5 and ES.

which carbon fiber things were you looking at? I have a momo e-brake handle and it seems to match rather well.

Yes. Actually, we are developing a carbon fiber roof spoiler, front lip spoiler and splitter for Speed Network's World Challenge Touring Car of Roger Foo. I or Mitch will keep you all informed.

I was looking at the Combat and some of the other ones. They all seem to have the same fake carbon fiber but it is hard to tell from the pictures whether it is close to the look Mazda chose for theirs. I don't want something that will look too different from those two big strips running down the dash. I personally thought the Mazdaspeed one was a little crappy looking compared to the MOMO ones though. I was not aware that the MOMO ones were difficult to install. Is there a trick or something?

do a search on shift *****. momos look nice but some people don't like them because the use set screws on the side to install and can come loose easy. locktite has been recommended. i like the carbon fiber look too but want one that screws right on. check out team voodoo. they seem to have nice stuff and will fit proteges.

Hmmm I actually drive a MP3 not P5... so about the roof spoiler issue....The Wingswest style roof spoiler im talking about is the piece on the top of the rear windshield window in the pic from the wingswest kit.

We would love to do something like that roof spoiler for MP3. But we have to make sure that there is a market for that to start production on it.

Hey guys, I'll post the prices on these items soon & the rest of the pics as soon as Leonard gets them to me. They are going to look into a few more items like possibly some eyelids & the Autoexe parts reproduced in CF. And Im trying to get that rear spoiler done for you non-Pro5 people. I'll post any info I have.
