mdslomo - we call it the MP3 pocket because that's where most people have seen it and decided they want one.

I have the same one, but it came used from a '99. Now we know that both the '99 AND '00 used this pocket - time to hit those junkyards boys! $90 at the dealer my *** - you'll probably get it for $10 if you find a wrecked Pro at the salvage yard.

And scheissmacht - whoever told you the adapter is not out yet is - in all probability - full of ****. Unless there was a change to the '03 models (which I am 99% sure is NOT the case) - the adapter has been available for about 6 months or more. Check Scosche's website, and call them or email if necessary - this item is definitely available, and I think it is part # MA03.

Buy two - one to use, and the other to shove up the *** of the moron who told you it'll be a YEAR until one is available.

That was one of the service advisor's at the dealership I bought my car from. The Best Buy guys (yeah, yeah I know but I was in a hurry) said 2 or 3 months. They had a 2002 P5 in there recently and couldn't do the install because they didn't have the adapter. Thanks for the tip, the MA03 should work you say?

Yes - I believe that MA03 is the proper one.

But - you might want to call Scosche's customer service just to be sure before buying. They will make certain you get the right part, and they know what they're talking about .

I say that because I didn't use one of the adapters - when I did my install, the adapter WAS NOT available - for real. I just did a splice-job. But I did contact Scosche before, and they were very helpful. Give 'em a call, or send an email just to be on the safe side.

I am sure that the BB guys have no idea if the 2003 is the same as the 2002....scosche may not either....however...that IS the correct number for the 2002....and best of all....WAL-MART is the national distributor for Scosche. if you go to wallyworld...and get their scosche book and look up the adapters...most likely they are NOT going to have it there...you will see an * next to the part number....it will say "special order", SO, you go to the manager of that part of the store and tell them you want them to special order it...IF they try to BS you and tell you that they don't do that?, have them call the 1-800 number that is on the back of the book....and if they refuse, first get that persons name, then go to the store manager, if you get the same answer, get THEIR NAME TOO....then, write down the number yourself....then go home....ensure you have the actual address of that particular walmart...and then call SCOSCHE and complain to them directly that one of THEIR distributors refused to order the part for you.....THEY just lost a sale.....and give them the addrss and names of the manager that would not order it for you.

well the MA03 is less than $10 shipped from sounddomain.com so I went ahead and ordered it. If it doesn't work I won't cry.
