Anyone know how to install the steel braided hose sleeves? or know a website that gives a how to. There just the braided dress-up kits that go over the hose. I cant figure out how to get the to open an round out.

 

ok, take a hammer handle, and push the sleeve down it, opening it up...then kinda push it, and hold the other side...its a pain in the ***, but do it kinda like an inch worm.

move some up, hold it, then move some more...it helps if you sorta twist the sleeving as you push it down the hose.

 

braided hoses are a pain in the @$$! you've gotta have a LOT of patience.

 

if anyone wants what's left of my braided hose kit let me know. there's not that much left of some of the sizes, but whoever wants it can have it (just pay about $3 to cover for S&H).

 

i only did the radiator hose, and the overflow hose, so i have some left over too, vaccum sizes, and the next one up..if anyone needs them.
