is the wings west kit or the MP3 kits the only options for my 2002 ES? does anybody know if other companies plan to make a kit for it and if so when?

 

i just talked to wingswest and they told me that the kit they have only fits the MP3 model. he said that as soon as they start distributing the MPS kit they will start fitting them on the ES model. no idea when though. it sucks! i really want a kit for my 01 ES. anyone know of any other kits out there??

 

the mp3 is the same car as your es body wise but has a new front bumber and grill and fender but all the other parts will fit such as the side skirts , rear skirt, and spoiler

 

will the front wings west bumper and sideskirts fit on the Protege5?

 

Can anyone answer this question then..... Why the hell are they posting it on the wingswest site for Proteges 99-02? Is that a typo? That's freakin' false advertisement...unless theyre suggesting modification of the bumper.... for proper fitment , but is that possible on the 99s? CRAZY!

 

ok aaaaaa -y so ..... no one knows.... why they're posting it as 99-02 if its supposely for mp3s

 

because they probably got info that 99-02 is third gen, and they probably think that all third gens are the same. nothing big, a lot of companies do it. everything from WW kit will fit a 99/00 protege as well, EXCEPT for the front bumper. the rear and side skirts however, should fit any 99/00 pro as well. and the ww kit should fit all 01/02 protege's. i don't know why they say it ONLY fits the mp3. that's retarded, considering not too many mp3's were made, and the 01/02's are the same damn car.

 

I'm not answering any more questions on this. I'm sick of constantly having to explain the same thing. Do a search for such things. You'll find lots of topics.
