Blaupunkt Tampa Bay

Will the Blaupunkt Tamba Bay Deck fit in the P5?

Crutchfield doesn't seem to list it as one that will fit. Its the only one i have been able to find that doesn't look gaudy and it lights up red at night.

I hope to get one but i am worried that it may be too deep to fit in the dash or something like that? does anyone have one of these who can tell me otherwise?

heres a link to it at a decent price:

I know the skyline series will fit, Iwould imaging the Funline series is about the same size also... There are several Blaupunkt in use on the board here.....

sorry dude, i run a skyline model, but it looks like it should fit. (do you mean w/o an adapter?) blaupunkts usually have wider faces allowing for a nicer fit. looks to be the same for your tampa.

I would say the same, you may want to go over to blaupunkt's web page, and look around for the info in the manuals section for yourself. The skyline is know to fit, so you would be looking to seek is funline is equal or smaller in chassis.

Only issue might be the depth, but I doubt it. Compare it against other decks Crutchfield says will fit okay if you want - check the depths of each and see if the Blau is much deeper. If not, you're fine.

call them and ask them what the problem is. on my old protege they had the depth of the "hole" all wrong. of course you will have to remove the HU to see if there is more room. Good luck.
