ATTN: 1995 owners - Stereo Pocket??
Anyone with a 1995 pro out there? Does this year have a similar covered stereo pocket to the MP3?
I have heard that it is similar, but I'm not sure - anyone who owns a 1995 (or any year) with a factory latched pocket like the one in the MP3, please respond!!

The pocket I am speaking of is a "cubby" underneath the stock stereo in a 95 Pro. The 2001 MP3 Pro also has a latched pocket under the radio - to take up the second DIN sized space left over when the Kenwood MP3 player is installed.
I was told that the 1995 (maybe other years, too?) Proteges have a similar pocket under the radio, with a latched cover - I'm just trying to find out if this is true.

99 Pro and 01 MP3 yes
Don't know about the 95 but, I know the 99 Pro and 01 MP3 both have the mentioned pocket with different covers. I’ve removed mine for the installation of my LCD in dash screen.

in the FAQ's it's mentioned that the 99-00 protege's have this pocket. no other years are mentioned. i am looking to buy one myself. david......... do you still have yours? would you consider selling?
