Asked 1.5 Million times - components

Wanted:
Nice sounding sub-$150 5.25" components.

I'll have an amp running these, I'll get another one if the one I'm getting is too powerful (I'm getting two older model Infinity 400w 2ch amps, dunno the exact model #)

I'm just looking for those two speakers and a sub (I already have a 15" solobaric), I'm assuming it should sound fine in my 323, I'm by no means an audio-phile.

Suggestions welcome!!!!

I hear a lot of people from this forum and msprotege that CDT's make great sounding speakers and are inexpensive.

no, sub means below... meaning below or equal to $150

Thank ya sir, yea I just checked out thezeb, that's where I bought my HU. They are the 6.5s, and I'm not sure how well they would fit. I'm also worried about the depth, because the speakers that are in my pro when I bought the car are too deep so the windows don't go down the whole way. I did see the Infinity reference speakers somewhere else for close to $150, so that may be an option as well. Thanks!

I have the reference 5.25 comps. Can't complain. cept they're in the back right now, I know "comps in the back?", yeah they don't help me out too much but i wanted to get them in the car. I'll enjoy them more when I put them up front sometime within the next month.

If you are using head unit power, infinity reference is the way to go if considering coaxials. They don't require as much power to get loud.

I'm really leaning towards the CDTs just because I can get them so cheap. I don't care if the paint is a different color than it was supposed to be, I've heard really awesome things about them.

If I can't get them, I'll probably end up with the Infinities... I don't know when I'm going to be purchasing these bad boys.

not sure.
i know ikesound is reliable and i think they offer a warranty...
if they are authorized, then i'm sure it's covered.
i didn't research everything, just pointing him in a good direction.

but whatever. he's looking at cdt's anyhow...

I need to look for the specs on those CDTs, specifically the recommended RMS wattage. The amp that I'm getting is 100x2 or 400x1, and 100x2 sounds to be a bit much for those alpine's

Guess I could get another amp, too...
