Anyone instal 6 speakers in mp? (back doors)

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the wiring to instal speakers in the back "dummy" doors, how to run the amp, etc. in a 2002 Protege ES. I have an Alpine CDA-7893 w/ Ai-Net and have 5x7 Infinity Kappa speakers in the fron and 6x9 in the back (all 2-way speakers). But I want to put Infinity Kappa 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 in the back doors (the passenger doors). Has anyone done this...how did you run your wiring and power the speakers? Is there a hole in the metal of the back doors already..there is the speaker vent already... I guess use a 6 channel amp? I really want to use an Alpine amp, but I don't think they make one w/ 6 channels. I saw a AUDIOBAHN A6601T 6 channel amp with 75W RMS x 6. Any thoughts?

I haven't but I will. I know the MSPs have them in the doors. I'm thinking about doing the seperates up front and in the rear doors and removing the 6x9s in the back.

Do yah think the 5th and 6th speakers will make a differance to make it worth it? I obviously wouldn't want to waste the money on the amps if its not going to make a sound quality improvement. Should I just power the 4 speakers I already have with a 4 channel to give them more watts?

Well I have 2 amps, one for the 4 speakers and one for the 2 subs.

The for channel amp seems to be more than enough for the Alpine 6x9s, which I strongly suggest NOT to buy. I have blown two pair of the type s 6x8s and 3 of the type r 6x9s. I have the gains on the amp turn all the way down on the rears and they still over power the front. I have had Ultimate Electronics mess with it several times and I still blow them when I want to crank it. I replaced the front with the Infinity and they seem to be better. I think the amp is more than enough to power 6 speakers well. I am going to run two to on side on the rear ch so that it will keep the balance. I am also going to get rid of the Alpine 6x9s and go with a cheap pair of pioneers. The componits I want are about 300.00 apair so I need to save a little more. If you get a good for channel amp that has a high RMS rating you should be ok. The RMS watts on the 6x9s is only like 35watts.

But even with all the problems Ive had with the Alpines, with just 3 speakers and the subs I can make you get out of the car. Its loud and CLEAR sounding.

The alpine is more for quality not loud. I want loader!

"strongly suggest NOT to buy" what?? I have had infinitys for 3 years and use them everyday...never once had a problem with them ever!...Never had a problem with my Alpine head unit either. Therefore I will continue to buy these two brands.

The rear doors already have the wiring for speakers, i remember seeing the wiring harness in my rear doors, when i was installing door actualtors. You might need an adapter plate to fit the 5x7. I'm pretty sure a 6x8 would fit in the rear.

I was saying not to buy the Alpine 6X9s. For 200.00 bucks they're just not worth the money. I would go with the Infinitys! The Alpines don't do well when pushed.
As far as head units go I was going to buy the Alpine that has the XM receiver built in it but it only had 2 RCA jacks and I need 3. Panisonic is coming out with one like it but will have 3 sets. And it'll be cheaper.

I think I am going to get the Alpine MRV-F540 Amp:
# 700 total watts max output
# 100 x 4 watts RMS @ 2 ohms
# 80 x 4 watts RMS @ 4 ohms
# 200 x 2 watts RMS (when bridged)
# 2, 3, or 4-channel output amplifier
# Tri-way capable
# front and rear channel crossovers high pass and low pass
# Blue Power LED
# MOSFET power supplied
# Low internal noise with state of the art technology
# Preamp outs
# ultra efficient power and ground connections
# gold-plated screw terminals
# Convenient top mounted controls with cover
# detachable front cover
# Dimensions: 16-1/2"W x 2-1/2"H x 9-7/8"D

But I really want to get an amp that can push 100Watts RMS x 4...
