Anyone have experience with Dash Kits???

I've had my 2003 ES for about 2 months now.. just was wondering if anyone has a dash kit for their protege?

I'm looking into a CF one, just looking for advice on what is good & bad. I've heard both sides about overlays and molded kits, so tell me your experience or what you think!!! anything is appreciated

I had the brushed aluminum one from Florida Auto Trim. It was removed as quickly as it was put on. It looked like total crap. Pieces we're like half an inch thick and made it look goofy. Took it as a loss and a learning experience. Maybe the molded kits are better, I just painted some pieces and am now in the process of tweeding out my entire interior. I'm 50% done and will have pics to show. Hope it helps

I've yet to see a dash kit on a protege that looks better than the original. Painting it is a good option if you're looking to stand out and have the ability to paint.
