i have the bushings, but you can't see those from inside the car. i'd like to get the shifter, it's just not in the cards for me right now.

YEP.....B&M Short Shifter, custom **** from EPCO Mfg. 1 7/8" yellow sphere with the shift pattern in it......color coordinated to match the car. :{D
