Just want to say, that the sound is unbelievable. I am very happy with the system. It sounds great. And the head unit looks so good in the protege sedan. It was expensive, but if you have the money go with this system, you will not be disappointed.

 

I got the same HU installed this weekend, works great and I love it. Alpine is the best!!

 

I've had alpine head units in every car I have ever owned. I've never really been that impressed with their speakers or amps though. But I have had the same amps and subs since 2000. And I get Infinity Reference series dirt cheap through my friends at Circuit City's employee discount.

 

This is the first time I spend good money on a car audio system. And I am happy with the sound of this set up. A lot of people say they aren't happy with Alpine speakers and amps.

I would like to sit in another persons Protege Sedan with lets say infinity speakers, US acoustics amp, or JL amp and sub. And hear the differents. Wonder what I would hear.

 

I've also got the Keppas in the fornt and References in the rear, along with the Basslink, sounds great!!
