Alarm LED's

I recently installed some of these LED's in my '02 P5 and in my wifes '95 240sx. I put in clear ones in my headlights and red ones in my wifes corners along with green ones in her parking light housing in the bumper. We have customers asking us all the time what the hell they are when they drive by the shop (Circuit City) and see our cars, and all the other installers and sales counslers out back with the headlights blinking away. Well these things are bright and noticeable I guess to noticeable because I just had a hillbilly police officer knock on my door at 12:15 am letting me know that I may have a short in my car because I have some red and green lights flashing on my car. I told him what they were for and he said there was probably a law against them and I said there shouldn't be since the car is not moving. He told me not to get smart with him and he hoped my battery would run down. I explained to him that being l.e.d.'s and that they only draw minimal current that would take awhile and if I were not to start my car every day which I do. What a tool!
Anyone know how to post a video, I have a short video of the led's.
