Aftermarket headlights?

Has anyone installed aftermarket headlights? I was lookin around in the engine bay and i noticed that it would be pretty easy to change em, but stock is usually pretty good. I wouldnt want those dim *** "HYPER BLUE" or "HYPER WHITE" pieces of crap, but maybe something more like fake xenons or HIDs but without the $1000 price tag...
Thanks

I just installed a pair of Philips H4 "VisionPlus" in my Pro this past weekend, and what a difference it made! These bulbs have been shown to put 50% more light on the road, and can put the beam 10-20 meters further than stock. Also far less "yellowish" when comparing one new headlight and one OEM...almost like a HID look since it has a very sharp edge to the light (although nothing compares to true HID like I got when lived at home and driving my dad's S2000!)

I would recommend them highly, although they are E-spec so you will have to order them from overseas. Got mine from a German dealer on ebay for under $30!!!

The bulbs that Mitch sells at Protege5Online.com project nearly twice as far as stock and give off a very crisp blue/white hue. I'd definetely buy them again.
