for those of you who want power, ampman and adire came out with this new amp that is in stock and ready to ship. 1500wrms (says 1600, but dunno bout that) for $369? damn... seems to have been made for the brahma. (what is jbl to do?)

interesting that it is rated at 4ohm and 1ohm, but not 2ohm. And no S/N ratio

 

I see the rating at 2 ohm...950w

And it does have 120amp fusing.

And it only accepts up to 3v input? No line drivers for that beast.

 

actually, their specs are both incomplete and inconsistent. but that could be the webmaster's fault. ampman sells some top of the line ****, and adire has become synonomous with big value/solid boom. should be a good amp. but like i said, waiting for the 4ch before i start buying the amps.

 

I would second the Hawaiian's thought here- Ampman is one of the upper end sound shops, he has been associated with Brax, and Luxman car audio at various times, so I would expect this amp to be top level also.... sight unseen that is-

 

I 3rd Hawaiian's comments about Ampman. I bought a set of CDT Braxial's off of him. Very trustworthy guy & really practices what he preaches, which is hard to come by nowadays. Truly a gentleman that can be trusted. It does look like that's the perfect match for the Brahma though, doesn't it?
