99 Protege DX Conversion

I have the dreaded DX model and was wondering if it is possible to convert to Power Windows and Locks and what the cost would be?

Price im not sure... and im not sure if this owuld work or not but its a start to work on...

First go to a junk yard and get the doorpannels and hte clips that hook up to the switches for the windows and locks and get the motors too.... now how to hook them up... i dont know

OR

Go to the junk yard and just rip off the doors all together and replace your doors and then run the extra wires to the fuse box...

I know places like Circuit City will charge you 60.00 a door for power locks. They don't charge hourly or anything, just the flat rate or 60.00/door. About power windows, there are kits that can be bought and used to convert your windows. I also have the DX model and Ive been told the power window kit on www.autoloc.com is a good power upgrade. Its a little pricey though, but I think its better than the damn window cranks.

Just for the record the plugs on the DX doors have all the vires you need I just put the ES doors On my wife all I had to do was plug the plug in and the windows and mirrors work. Oh you Probly will need to put in a fuse as I did. Now If I can only find out how to get the power door locks to work.

Any Info anyone may have on Power door locks would be great They are there they just don't work.
