Does anyone have the New Clear Corners sold at procarparts.com ???

They are on sale for $69 bucks, and I'm thinking of getting them... works out to $94 with shipping and some lame $15 paperwork fee they have (more like extra commission.. but whatever)... anyways thats like $150 canadian.. I'm just wondering if anyone has these ones... wanna see a picture...

Thanks

Hey,

I heard that they do not fit as well as the factory so I went ahead and bought some from Matrixracing.com they fit good and look good also. The phone number for them is 818-595-0011 and I talked to Alex. and they where only like 52 dollars after shipping.

Just my 2 cents

Troy

yeah, the only problem is i don't like how those clear corners don't match (ie, not same color plastic) as the headlights...

I have the APC clear corners and I am very pleased with them. I have seen the new crystal clear ones but that is too Honduhish for me. Just go for that clean look....the APC plastic matches pretty well but if you want a pure mach do the Sport 20 headlight comversion from Corksport.

We'll I've seen the APC one's on 2 cars where I am. I don't think its a very clear look, because it just doesn't match up at all. It looks kinda cheap to me.

What do you mean by Honduhish? Doesn't it match better with the headlamps that are already clear? I would love to do the Sport 20 conversion, but $$$ is a issue.

I actually ordered the "diamond clear" ones to replace my who-knows-what make clear corner ones on my car right now (the ones everybody has with the little gap on the right side and not so good color match).. I'll have the new ones Tuesday and I'll take pics on the car I'm sure. I hope they have no gap and I'll see if it has that little euro bump on the side for rearward visibility of the signal by other people in traffic..

I think the diamond clear ones are the ones you're referring to.

procarparts.com sells all their stuff for less on ebay by the way, but I'm sure you already know that.. but they offer BOTH types of clear corners on ebay.. make sure you know which one you're bidding on.

Much better deal, extra $20 off, but the $20 cover's their shipping to Canada, still worth it!! Sweet!

I got them finally I got them!

They (the diamond clear, clear corners) apparently aren't the ones made by APC.. they're made by a company who makes OEM replacement products for vehicles I can post the name if anybodys interested, they're out of Taiwan but look to be top quality (as far as clear corners go..)

its hard to take a good picture of them.. the color match is better than my previous clear corners, its a little more clear than the headlights themselves though so it looks.. blackish clear at night.

definitely a classy look though.

anyway you can get them on ebay at procarparts.com just make sure you bid on the diamond ones. I'm selling my old ones by the way (if anybody wants clear but not diamond clear).. $32 and I'll ship them to your door for free.. email me tradr@mailcity.com !!

oh yeah last thing before I forget.. these new diamond clear corners from procarparts dont have any gap if you install them right.. no gap to the headlight, no gap to the fenders.. its a perfect fit, luckily

if you do end up ordering them guju as you might already know procarparts.com is bad about email (responding to, that is).. so make everything COMPLETELY straightforward if you paypal the money to them for example.. or you get the wrong product..

Thanks David for the info!! Nice pictures by the way, just what I want, I will be SURE to buy them now that I've seen the pictures.

I'll but it off ebay, its much cheaper... too bad exchange rate sucks! But for those looks I'm getting them for sure. How fast is their shipping?!

I will be buying from ebay, and will be using paypal to pay them. Hopefully if I but the diamond clear corners, they will send those ones, and not the other ugly type. Glad to hear they fit well.

Thanks for the pics..

You do not need to do a Sport20 headlight conversion to do this swap. JDM clear corners for the normal single projector type (the ones we have here for the 99-00 Proteges) are available and those are the ones to get.
But have you seen what those look like?! ugly.. don't MATCH the same plastic color, unlike these new Diamond Clear Corners... they look WAY better in my opinion...

the REAL jdm ones which TheMAN are talking about, match the stock headlights perfectly, they have no gap, these aren't the cheapie ones on ebay he's talking about..

they're like ~$85/US for the pair of those, but they're not complete see thru and don't have a "projector" (well projector appearance)

the diamond ones off ebay arrived fairly quick, seemed they were shipped out 2 days after paypal money was received.

good luck,
David

Procarparts.com

Okay, this company is getting annoying.

First of, I don't know who writes their emails, but they need to know how to write a proper sentence, or what grammer is.

Secondly they take a LONG time to reply. Thirdly, I've told them 3 times now (in 3 different emails, I'm gonna post the emails later for you guys to read) that I have a INTERNATIONAL VERIFIED PAYPAL account (well its Canada). Anyways I've tried to pay them via Paypal, but it keeps telling me that they don't accept payments from International Accounts? So I tell them this, and they say, "you must have a verified address". I've already received a few products after making payments via Paypal to ebay customer already with no problem. But these guys? .... we'll see what happens tho...
