1st Gen Trunk Dampeners

I was wondering if anyone has been able to fit a dampener on to the trunk to help keep it up. I have a 90 GT ( CDN LX w/ wing) and the added weight of the wing makes the trunk close with a wind gust or even just not being parked level.

Viagara?

Seriously, I haven't figured out how to keep it up (the decklid) in 12 years of ownership, other than tightening the springs (didn't help much).
