Hey guys, i wanna know who installed an alarm on their DX, not you had someone install it, you did it yourself.

it's rather easy, as access to the wires are good. For your first time, i estimate about a full day on a DX. If you plan to upgrade to power locks in the future, now is a good time to pre wire the alarm with relays, so when the time comes, it's that much easier. As with any other feature you may add later (i.e trunk pop)

here's the list of wires and locations

Got a local shop to install it. Ill later then put on Power locks by myself

I bought the Excalibur ATV-1000 Alarm w/starter kill. Made by Omega.

Alarm was $99 and installation was $100 but i got it all for $175 with no tax. hehe, im quite a dealer!!!
