1998 altezzas

Yeh, I was just wondering.... I've seen the links and stuff everywhere for altezza lights for 1998-2001 proteges.. but doesn't 1998 differ totally from the the 1999-up lights? I may be wrong, but with some modifications, the 1998 lights would fit into a 1995-1996 wouldn't they?? excuse me if this question makes me look like a total jackass.......

98 is a second gen right? If so then unless they made them recently there are no altezzas. However there are some "JDM" styled rear lenses on corksport.com

there is a link to the site... maybe they made a type-o, but a lot of other sites have them for 98-up, too.. i wish it had a pic, then i could tell a little bit easier.

These lights are made for 99-plus only. The reason many sites advertise as 1998, is because third gen came out every else in the world in 1998, and here in the states it was released in 1999. So it is not a type, but only a matter of difference of when and where the car first went on sale.

Gross

Yeah, i guess all north america, in canada also our 1998 is a Gen 2 car. But to be honest i am not a big fan of those altezza lights. Certain cars yes, but some of those lights are just overkill.. If anything, i think it looks sweet when you cover the middle part of the trunk.. Check this guys..

yup 2nd gen is 95/96 and 97/98 ...
Those adds that you see on site for 98+ ...
They just don't know what the hell they are doing that's all ..
They don't know the true years for the Protege...
there are no Alteza lights for the Protege
