Anyone watch this show on SPEED? I'm 98% sure its made in canada somewhere, not exactly sure of the city. Anyone know?

Ya, they rarely do any work themselves, always go to other garages to do mods. Still a fun show though.

 

At least they stick mostly with performance upgrades rather than useless rice.

 

Ya, they rarely add any body kits. Its all perfromance, addons and "keeping it a sleeper".
We need to get a protege on there.

 

I disagree....everytime I've seen the show they've spent more time adjusting the vinyl graphics than doing anything more than an intake, exhaust and chip...i saw a nitrous kit installed once.....ooooh.

They really do nothing special in the way of performance...."springs and intakes do not a sports car make"

 

they have their moments... i've seen them turn a 240sx into a drift sylvia, complete with the redtop engine and a widebody kit to accomodate 9" wide rear tires. they added a supercharger onto a 350z. they've added a turbo to a focus... etc. etc. then they have something like a rwd conversion on a paseo. it's better than pimp my ride, that's for sure.

 

what about the IS300 they turboed out lie a ****. my buddy is a member of lexusforums.com.the guy with the IS posted a week after they transformed his car. it was so low he shattered the front lip.

 

actually they already did a 323 GTX on there....and every time I've seen it it's been a little of both...very little detail though as it's only a half hour

 

Ok guys, I just gave the show YET ANOTHER chance....the car was a honda civic....ricey...they added:

Lowering springs (not performance springs)

Larger fuel injectors (why?? no other performance mods were installed??)

VENOM ecu (yeah right...these are good for 0hp)

body kit (looked horrible)

wheels and tires (nicest thing on the car and they used DUNLOPS?!?!)

they said they did an intake and exhaust also....I didn't see it.


what a shitty show.

Makes me wish I had my own camera crew to follow me around. Apparently anyone with a wrench can get their own show.
